Had a disconcerting flashback to church basement potlucks after reading about Minnesota’s love of the dessert salad. Thank u, next!
I was blessedly gifted this extremely important tome and I can’t stop turning to the double-page spread of Jonathan and Antoni in the bath and SCREAMING. It’s so good.
It should also be noted that I’ve cried like 100 times reading this book. That’s how insightful and IMPORTANT it is. They’re changing hearts and minds out here, folks! 🖤
I accidentally started Rachel Cusk’s trilogy in the middle but am completely transfixed by Transit. The narrator’s ability to listen and re-tell stories is so fresh and soothing. I’m really enjoying my time in her world and am excited to finish the three books out of order.
I’ve been on the look-out for a new pair of (preferably lace-up) black boots and am so pissed that I stumbled on this pair by Chloé because I’m going to think about them constantly until I either a) decide to pony up £920 and make ‘em mine or b) die*. They’re P.E.R.F.E.C.T. Ugh.
I’ve had Lagoon by Laura Misch, a saxophonist (rad), singer and producer in London, on repeat all week. It really sets the mood on gloomy grey days. 👌🏼
*Let’s be real, I’ll die before I get those boots… This pair is a close second atm and much kinder to ye old moneybags. Though not nearly as fierce and not a lace-up! Even so, still v chic.
